Behavioral Health Rep I at Montrose Clinic
About the Position
Located at the vibrant Montrose Clinic in Houston, TX, this role is a vital part of driving healthy change in our communities. As a Behavioral Health Rep I, you will provide essential support to our on-site Behavioral Health providers, covering a spectrum of engaging responsibilities that are pivotal in optimizing patient care and access.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate language line interpretation services to ensure clear communication for all patients.
- Efficiently sort and dispense incoming mail and faxes, maintaining organized communications.
- Assist new patients in navigating the registration process, ensuring all forms and documentation are completed prior to their appointments.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) and continuity of care lists, ensuring accurate and updated patient information.
- Oversee provider schedules to optimize patient access, including scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling of appointments as necessary.
- Administer the waitlist for all Behavioral Health Services, strategically filling open appointment slots to maximize service efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One-year certificate from a college or technical school is preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification is a must, ensuring emergency preparedness.
- Three to six months of related experience is preferred, providing a strong foundation for practical application within this role.
